Eva and Family (continued)

Wow....can I just say how blessed I am....?  Yes, I've had some hardships in my life...one in particular that I would never wish upon anyone...but if you take the rest of my life that the good Lord has given me, it's pretty darn good.

If you weren't already aware, I recently left my full-time, stable-income, day-job to pursue photography full-time.  It's been miserable trying to keep up with that job, photography, my family, and my me-time (which was non-existent)...leaving that job was a HUGE risk financially...but I knew that I had to do it if I was ever going to get this photography biz really going....

So as worried as I was deep inside, I also knew in my heart that it was going to be fine...I just didn't know exactly how....I always have faith that the Lord will provide for me what I need...he always has....I hadn't really booked any shoots for awhile the last month or so I was working, just too busy to market myself....but all of a sudden, right after my employment ended, the session inquiries just started rolling in!  One after another...and they haven't stopped!  It was really such an amazing thing because of the timing of it all...

Sure enough, my calendar has started filling up and I'm completely able to make ends meet right now, and should be fine for the next couple of months for sure...faith is a wonderful, wonderful thing....some people have looked at me cross-eyed when I told them that my future was all hanging on faith because logistically I wasn't real clear how this whole thing was gonna work....but I never doubted it and I never let their skepticism waver my faith.

Funny...as I was sitting here with this empty blog page in front of me, trying to figure out how to start off this post with no ideas coming to mind...my little email notification thing popped up with a brand new client writing to book a session...then I felt inspired to write all of the above...I think that was God telling me to spread the faith to all of you.  So have a little today. :) :)

OK - back to the pictures!  Below is a great family that I met up with at Manhattan Beach awhile back, here is the initial post: http://averyjamesphotography.blogspot.com/2010/07/eva-and-family.html (speaking of, did you know that you can click on the tags either below the posts or on the right sidebar and it will pull up all of the related posts??  GREAT feature).  I absolutely LOVE how gorgeous the blue sky was on this day!!!  It came in the midst of a lot of overcast and ugly So Cal summer days too....good timing I guess. :) :)

Oh - and one more thing, please become a fan of AJP on Facebook if you're not already!!  http://www.facebook.com/AveryJamesPhotography

Have a great Friday everyone!! :) :)
