Senior Portraits Special!

I am releasing a new special for Senior Portraits this year. I think they'll be a lot of fun to do, so I'm willing to bring my prices down for them…and even more willing to reward my fabulous clients for their referrals!

Here are the different pricing options, there should be something here for everyone as I know different people have different budgets and various preferences.

These specials are currently valid through the 2009-2010 school year (ending at the end of June 2010). If you are interested in one of these, please visit my website to view my calendar for availability (lighting is best at 4:00pm for a 1hr session, or 3:30pm for a 90 minute session).

Feel free to bring along your own makeup and/or hair stylist to the shoot as well! I don't have anyone that I work with [yet] – so I don't have any referrals, but I'm happy to ask around for you if you would like. J

1. $100 – 30 minute session, cd only, no wardrobe change

2. $150 – 60 minute session, cd only, 2 wardrobe changes

3. $200 – 60 minute session, cd, 2 wardrobe changes $50 worth of prints

Robin H. and Family

I had such a fun shoot today, although freezing and I think I may have lost a couple of toes to frostbite!  :) :)  I met up with a super nice lady, Robin, along with her husband, his mom, dad, and sister.  It was really nice working with all adults as I have the opportunity to be a little more creative with shots than you can sometimes be with little ones.  In addition, the sky was absolutely beautiful today!!  The picture with them all looking up and the seagulls in the sky is going to go in my all-time favorites list!

And even though it was probably about 40-50 degress outside, they agreed to brave the cold Pacific and dip their toes in...unbeknownst to all of us, at the very end of our shoot as we're all walking away from the water, some freakish wave comes up and soaks us all from behind...so much for just our toes!!  I literally couldn't feel 6 of my 10 toes by the time I got back to the car!  It at least resulted in tons of laughs, I had a great time. :)

Here's some of my favorites - I had to stop myself from just posting the whole shoot...I just liked them all so much!! :)

Candy Cane Lane 2009

Our yearly tradition of strolling through Candy Cane Lane continued this year, and this time I brought the camera to try and capture the feel of this fabulous atmosphere.  It truly is a beautiful thing that this neighborhood does...it kinda makes me feel like I live in a small town for just a minute - even though I don't live in this neighborhood (I wish!!) - but it's in the city I grew up in, so it's kinda my town. :)

I love that the whole neighborhood participates, and that people come from all over to walk around or drive through... and the feel of just having so many people out and about with smiles on their face, Christmas music playing, hot cocoa being sold, and kids riding in the backseats of their parent's golf carts down the street, is just so nostalgic to me...I absolutely love it.  I urge you all to make it a yearly tradition - and buy yummy snacks from all the kids. :)

Here were some of the things I caught on camera...the last picture of the Santa in his beach clothes just makes me smile...a true California Christmas. :)
