The "S" Family

Love love loving my shoot from this past Saturday afternoon at the beach in Palos Verdes, CA.  This awesome family drove all the way down from the Studio City, CA area to come and meet with me on a gorgeous and sunny afternoon.  We trekked down the hillside to get to the beach and they were all just such great sports about getting in the water and having a good time.  I just adore the candid shots that we got. :) :) 

By the end of the shoot we were ALL soaking wet, but it was so worth it...especially when I look at the picture directly below here of the parents swinging their daughter high up in the air with the water flying around them and a giant smile on her face....this shot is going into my all-time favorite list. :)

I had lots of favorites from this shoot....so I just had to post them all. :) :)  Enjoy!

Michelle and her two boys (continued)

This family was so loving, I can only hope that my son will still hug me that way when he's a teenager. Michelle really wanted to capture a lot of candid shots and photos of her and her kids just being themselves so that their personalities would come through...so the shoot was fun because everyone was laughing and having a good time...we even devised a quick game of tag and a sand sprint to get some fun action shots. :)

And just an FYI for everyone else waiting patiently for their pictures - this shoot is from Aug. 9...the next shoot I'm working on is from Aug. 10, then Aug. 13.

Sorry for the delay - we just moved last weekend and it delayed my catch-up work even more than it already was! I still need to get my desk and printer set up so I can print labels for the cds and get them in the mail to everyone....I'm work-work-workin'! :)

Joanne and Family (continued)

I fell in love with these pictures as I was editing them. I REALLY like the ones with the family walking down the beach...I want one like that of me and my family that I can blow up and put on the wall in our home. I really need to find me a photographer to take our family photos!!

I also love the one of Joanne's beautiful daughter jumping up when the wave came...love action shots. :)

This beach also offers a great city view...it's a bit stinky from all the seaweed, but since you can't smell it in the pictures it's a worthwhile sacrifice. :) I love the different elements of the beach, the city, the nature-y look, and the rocks...it's a little of everything - one of the many reasons I love southern California. :)

And an FYI on where I am with editing - this shoot is from July 24...next I'm editing pics from July 27. And I had about 20 sessions in August that I'm backed up on (sorry, I know, I know...that's what I get for offering an awesome special over the summer that everyone waited til the last minute to book, lol.) :)
