Carmen's Bridal Shower

I know my lovely friend, Carmen, has been patiently waiting for me to show her some pics from her bridal shower that I took....I took these just for fun, and so unfortunately that usually means it takes me forever to get to them on my list of to-do's...but I haven't even had a chance to look at them myself yet and decided to go through them really quick this evening and at least post a couple.....probably because I was in the spirit from just having gone to her bachelorette party last night. :) :)

I'll get some more up as soon as possible. :) :) :)

Alma and Mike

OK, so I just finished telling this couple that I wasn't going to be able to post any of their pictures today because I have to get ready to go out with some friends tonight...but I got home and looked at the pictures and decided that I couldn't help it and I'd have to make time to post at least a couple....

This first one is one of my all-time favorites.....great looking couple.  Thanks guys!! :)

N and G continued

Busy busy busy...the story of my life. :) :)

But, I found some time to finish editing these lovely little girls' pictures this past week.  Below are more of my favorites from their session.

I think my favorites are the ones towards the end with the peach colored dress out on the pier...she just looks so princess-like and elegant.  Gorgeous. :) :)

Culture and Lifestyle Magazine...and some pics of Caydan :)

Just a quick update for everyone. :)

I have been asked to be the official photographer for a potential new magazine (Culture and Lifestyle Magazine) that will be sponsored by the cities of Carson, Compton, and Lynwood.  This high-gloss publishment will feature stories and advertisements highlighting the redevelopment of these communities.

It's truly an awesome project...I have to admit that I am completely naive in terms of what these cities can offer the public.  But after spending the majority of this weekend driving around to a list of locations to take photos, I attained a huge amount of respect for what this cities are doing and the people in them.  It's an uplifting thing to see these cities being beautified and having so much attention being given to them.

I feel a teeny bit more educated after this weekend, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to experience more locations like these.

I can't post anything yet from this project until it's been finalized, approved, and published...but I would love to put up the final product when it's done.  Just not sure yet when that will be.  But you'll see it here first. :)

Just to not leave you hanging, here's a few photos I took of my son while we were out today....his beautiful and adorable face will have to suffice til I have time to post more pics. :)

N and G

These girls are just adorable.  And I have to thank their parents for bringing little "N" these absolutely GORGEOUS dresses to wear!!  I need to get me some for future photoshoots because I just can't get over how beautiful they are....definitely princess dresses. :)

Little "N" also put me on "time out" which I thought was extremely cute...even though she was being very serious about it. :)  I love all the little stories I get to collect from my photoshoots. :)

Here is a little sneak peek at their session from today.  Thank you all for spending the morning with me! :)

Planning for Disneyworld

This is completely unrelated to photography...but I just posted this on my other blog that I share with my friend Jen, and thought that some of my photography followers might be interested in it as well.....

It's basically a super long post about what I learned about planning a Disneyworld vacation!

I hope someone finds it useful. :) :)
