Chris

I did a quick mini-shoot with a co-worker at my other job (yes, I do have a full-time job in addition to my photography for those who are unaware...which is what contributes to my major back-log of editing) yesterday...he, among others, will be riding a gazillion miles in the Tour DaVita bike ride next week...ok, 250 miles to be exact.

Since Chris is a former/still dabbling-in-it model, he wanted to get a few pictures of himself with his team shirt and bike when we were able to grab a couple of minutes to take a work-break. Below is what we got...I'm loving these pictures. :) :)

Michael - headshots (continued)

I love these headshots of Michael. He definitely has that model look (although I believe he's more interested in acting vs modeling) and looks great in pictures...killer smile. :) He's very good at changing his facial expressions and took direction excellently during the shoot. :) Below are all of my favorites from the session :)

Michael

Today's shoot was another headshot session - which I'm really starting to enjoy doing. It's basically my favorite style of photography: close-up portraits.

Friends of mine who have known me awhile, probably already realized that I love to take close-up pictures of their faces...much to some of their dismay...

...something about faces is just beautiful to me...I love eyes, and so I love pictures that showcase eyes and really bring them out....which is what a headshot does. :) I used to draw a lot when I was younger and when I was in college....and I always drew portraits. I always started with drawing the eyes and spent a lot of time perfecting them...then I hurried and drew the rest of the face or sometimes didn't even finish it...I just mainly liked the eyes. :)

Anyways - here are some sneak peeks at Michael's pics...great looking guy, camera loves him....gonna be big someday. :)
