Kim and Family - Boston Session

Catching up [slowly] on some old blogging that I haven't done....these pictures below are from the last batch of photo sessions I did while I was out visiting the Boston area.  Aren't they just a fun looking family?  I love the ones of their Dad playing with them and just interacting with the kids.  Adorable. :)

And on a side note...what's really special about this park that the session was at, is that my dear friend Summer (the one who set all these sessions up for me in the first place and that I previously blogged about here) purchased and planted a tree at this park in memory of my first son, Avery.  Over the years it has grown so much and is absolutely beautiful and precious.  I'll have to do a separate blog post about the tree another time. :)

So now, on with the photos. :)

Jen and Family - Boston Session

Of course...as soon as I blog about starting back up my Picture a Day project, I go and put absolutely no new posts up for a week and a half.....so typical of me. Sorry...life got in the way for awhile, as well as a bunch of new projects I got excited about that distracted me...I'll blog about those soon too. :) I've just been so excited because I'm pretty much caught up on editing now...I've got some in the queue still, but they're not months late like the rest have been...so I'm caught up in my eyes! :) :) So since I'm caught up, I've taken this opportunity to start working on some other things that I've been wanting to do....AJP is branching out! :)

So, more to come on all of that stuff later...for now, here's some more pics that I haven't blogged about yet. This is another one of the Boston area families that I took photos of. This is actually Summer's brother and sister-in-law and their adorable little girl. You may recognize them from the group pics towards the end of Summer's session post.

This beautiful little lady has got some GORGEOUS baby blues...they remind me of my little angel, Avery's, eyes. Like blue marbles.... :)

Enjoy the pics! :)

Summer and Family - Boston Session

Sorry my blog posts have been so few and far between...I have been trying to dedicate as much time as possible to catching up on editing, and so I'm limiting my blog posts for the time being to just once after I'm done with one family's pics instead of a bunch throughout the process.  Once I catch up though, I'll go back to my regular blogging process. :) :)  I have so much more to share, but I'll save it for a time when I can make a quality announcement. :)

Hopefully you read my last blog post (Celia and her girls), if so then you'll have seen all the background info on my Boston trip and the reason I initially went.....below is the wonderful woman whose friendship is what got me out to the historic state of Massachusetts to do all these pictures.

The location that she chose to do her session wasn't even in Massachusetts...it was in York, Maine.  It's crazy how close and small all these NE states are, I drove through 3 different states within a couple hours timeframe.

York, Maine was an awesome little place too....for starters there is this BEAUTIFUL lighthouse on the rocks...just like you see in movies and postcards.  Then all the rocks and everything that you can walk out onto are just gorgeous.  It's such a picturesque place.

After we did Summer's pictures (and her brother's family photos as well that you'll see later), we went to this little amusement park place down the street for the kids.  Kinda like a permanent carnival, with a zoo attached.  So all the kiddies, mine included, got to run around and ride the rides.  A great reward for being so good during picture-taking.  After that we had a fabulous dinner together near the waterfront and said our goodbye's as we only had 2 more days left of our trip and were going to be doing some sightseeing the next day.

Here's a pic our waiter took at dinner.  Great families and great friendship. :)

And now - on to the beautiful Summer's pictures with her and her family. :)
