Robin H. and Family

I had such a fun shoot today, although freezing and I think I may have lost a couple of toes to frostbite!  :) :)  I met up with a super nice lady, Robin, along with her husband, his mom, dad, and sister.  It was really nice working with all adults as I have the opportunity to be a little more creative with shots than you can sometimes be with little ones.  In addition, the sky was absolutely beautiful today!!  The picture with them all looking up and the seagulls in the sky is going to go in my all-time favorites list!

And even though it was probably about 40-50 degress outside, they agreed to brave the cold Pacific and dip their toes in...unbeknownst to all of us, at the very end of our shoot as we're all walking away from the water, some freakish wave comes up and soaks us all from behind...so much for just our toes!!  I literally couldn't feel 6 of my 10 toes by the time I got back to the car!  It at least resulted in tons of laughs, I had a great time. :)

Here's some of my favorites - I had to stop myself from just posting the whole shoot...I just liked them all so much!! :)

Hi! I love your recent portraits! I really like the ones of them in the tree and the ones on the beach with the sun silhouetting them. Very lovely! I just recently posted portraits of a dance team, if you get a chance you should check it out!
Thanks for following my blog, I definitely plan to follow yours!

these are fantastic!
I also love the one with the family walking away with a bit of sunflare - it is such a tender moment you captured.

The photo of the family looking skyward is magical! I'm so happy for them that they'll have these captured moments to treasure for a lifetime. Good job!
