Baptism for little "G" (continued)

Finally the holiday photography season is starting to wind down....I've got the majority of my editing done for everyone's holiday pictures...a few more sessions left, but I'm not too far backed up or anything...it's been nice to have a little bit of relaxing in between working.  :)

But before I can post any of my newer sessions, I really need to finish blogging about my older sessions that never got put up!! Like this one below. (first blogged about here)  This absolutely GORGEOUS baby girl was baptized over the summer...tell me that this little face shouldn't be in magazines...pretty as her Mama. :) :)

Here are some pictures from the baptism, and then the reception afterwards where we got a bunch of family pictures in while everyone was in town.  The hard part about looking at these pictures though is...within a few months of taking these pictures, the older lady sitting in front in a lot of the pics passed away...I'm told she was the matriarch of the family...a very hard loss.  This is the reason that I stress how important it is to take lots of pictures....you just never know what tomorrow will bring, but you'll always have your memories.

Photobook from A&I Books

Earlier this year I ordered a Groupon for A&I Books, and managed to get my book created and ordered just before the deadline...I'm so glad I did too because I am thrilled with how it turned out!  So thrilled that I had to share it with you all since I just went and picked it up from their Hollywood, CA. offices last night (you can order online and have it shipped too).

Their book creator tool is pretty simple to use and has quite a few layout options and customizable options.  And I'm very pleasantly pleased at how wonderful the colors all printed and the overall quality of the book itself.  This is the lay-flat version which I think is marvelous, especially for using a photo that goes across the whole spread. :)

And yes - all of the pictures here, including the backgrounds and cover, are my own.  :)

Oh - and the 2nd to last pic at the bottom of the Disneyworld castle.....can you believe I took that at nighttime with my point and shoot??  The same point and shoot that typically takes horrible pictures....I surprised myself with this one. :) :)

Desiree and Family

Happy Friday everyone!

Anything exciting planned this weekend?  Nothing too crazy going on for me...photoshoot tomorrow and just catching up on work most likely....hmmm...that doesn't sound very fun.  Maybe I'll try and fit a Disneyland trip in there on Sunday (we have season passes so I go whenever possible!)....that sounds like a much more fulfilling weekend. :)

Below are some more older pictures I took over the summer of this lovely family.  I absolutely adore the little girl's dress, isn't it gorgeous??

Eventually I'll get all caught up with my past sessions blogging.....until then, enjoy the older pics :) :)
