Fundraisers...

Just a super quick post as I'm about to hit the sack...but I just did my first photography fundraiser this past weekend for my son's preschool and I think it went very successfully...plus I think I'll be able to work the kinks out of my process now that I've seen it in motion. :)

I haven't had a chance to advertise my fundraisers yet - but if you are part of an organization that would be interested in a super easy photography fundraiser (so much better than selling candy, cookie dough, and wrapping paper!) - please contact me for complete details.

The families in your org will love it, and they'll be purchasing something that they'll find much better use for than the 20 magazine subscriptions they bought from last year's fundraiser. :)

Please send an email to crystal@averyjamesphotography.com to inquire about the details.

Have a great evening!

Family Photos - part 2

I had a bit of a break after my 4 sessions this morning - then I had 2 more in the afternoon...here are some sneak peeks from those.....LOOOOOVE this little patch of daisies...and the little girls in them only make it that much better. :) And the second family here has some of the most beautiful group of eyes I've ever seen. :) :)
Thank you everyone for some great shoots today!!

Lazy Sunday

I rarely have any free time...but when I do, I choose to spend it with my son and make more memories that I can cherish....as a photographer, it's sometimes hard to capture moments in your own life because you're so busy capturing them in others.........but I try hard to keep up with my own family pictures because I know the importance of them all too well...

This past Sunday I was still up early for a morning photoshoot - but afterwards we went to my grandfather's house as we do most Sunday afternoons, and we spent the day sitting in the sun and playing outside with my fiance and sister...and my mother and grandfather even came out for a bit.

I was determined to get a good picture of Caydan blowing one of the wish-blower thingies....these aren't my favorite though, so I'm going to keep trying. :)

I love this one though because that's my grandfather's hand trying to help Caydan hold it right. :)

I also got a can of silly string a few weeks back and we finally got to play with it...it was a bit hard for Caydan to push the top, and he didn't like getting sprayed with it at all....but I still got a couple cute pictures out of it. :)

And here is a picture of our first grape bunch that we've ever had on this vine since we got it 3 years ago for Avery's garden....I'm really excited to see if they make it all the way without getting eaten by bugs!!

Bella

I'm in love with my pictures of Princess Bella from today....at first I was a little disappointed that my beautiful green pasture of tall grass had surprised us by turning into semi-tall brown hay looking stuff....so I had a completely different look in mind for today's pics............BUT - I have to admit, these came out beautiful and I love the coloring. I've always been a fan of the warmer color tones, and this highlights it wonderfully.....and pretty Bella is just adorable. Her name is so fitting. :)

I love doing repeat shoots with clients because it's like I get to see them grow in my photos...this was my second shoot with Bella and hopefully I will have the opportunity to do many more. :) :)

Cameron continued

Just sharing a few more pics of Cameron...great looking kid, a pleasure to work with! :)

Averie and Cameron

Adorable twins at the beach with loving parents - what more could you ask for? :) I'm pretty sure that it's safe to say - when you have twins you can never be bored. :) I had a ton of fun this morning trying to capture the attention of these two little ones...and it just happens that the little girl in these pictures shares a name with my angel son...although she spells it Averie. :)

Below are my favorites, I'll post more when I catch up with my other shoots though!
Thanks for a great morning :) :) :)
